Song, Poetry, and Ritual for Families

McLaughlin Family

McLaughlin Family

June 29—July 5, 2015 (part of Family Week Retreat)
Workshop with poet Timothy P. McLaughlin & singer Madi Sato
Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center
Abiquiu, NM

Family life flows most beautifully when anchored to the rhythms of Nature: the turning and unfolding of days, moon cycles, seasons. This Earth connection is easily and enjoyably cultivated through simple rituals that incorporate short sacred songs, prayer poems, and basic movements to enliven the spirit and energize the body of all family members.

Join Madi and Timothy in creating a sacred circle to celebrate our kinship with each other and the natural world. No experience with singing, poetry, or ritual is necessary.
